SATURDAY 27th MAY:
St Mary’s Church

13:00 - Will Butterworth
Another opportunity to see solo pianist Will Butterworth in a solo set, this time with the epic reverbs of the beautiful and spacious church venue, exquisite playing that is both gossamer delicate and rolls like the sea .

14:15 - MF Tomlinson
Brisbane/Meanjin-born and London-based songwriter MF Tomlinson negotiates textures from acid folk and alt country to create a singular presence that defies easy categorisation. His recent release ‘We Are Still Wild Horses’ LP is - according to the sage heads at Drift - the year's finest chamber pop and this will be a beautiful opportunity to see a beautiful voice in a beautiful building.

16:15 - Clara Mann
The Bristolian singer-songwriter Clara Mann has a stunning voice. Fragile but deeply enthralling and characterful. This is one not to miss - truly transportative.

18:15 - MEMORIALS
The multi-instrumental duo of Verity Susman (Electrelane) and Matthew Simms (Wire). They have created some sort of musical alchemy with their collective experiences colliding in searing drones, weird clunks, pop melodies and psychedelic freakouts. The Church is going to feel beguiling.

20:15 - Bill Ryder-Jones
Bill Ryder-Jones returns to Devon four years (and one pandemic) after his full band Sea Change show in 2019, with an intimate solo piano and guitar show to headline St Mary’s Church. From co-founder of the much-loved band The Coral, through to one of the most celebrated songwriters of this generation, Bill will perform favourites from his back catalogue alongside first airings of new material.

Saturday at St Mary’s Church will sound like this…
