Weekender 2023

Sea Change will return for WEEKENDER 2023, a Totnes town takeover of music, art, conversation and culture on the Spring Bank Holiday.

We are phenomenally proud of this line up, with some of our most favourite artists appearing, amazing new emerging talent and some proper party-starters! We will be adding a full weekend of conversations to include guests from Rough Trade Books and White Rabbit. We also have some exciting plans with the esteemed Verdant Brewery and some other town based collaborations that make Sea Change so different. High energy will fill the town on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th May 2023, with an all-new lazy Sunday (28th) planned to focus on the many revered regional food and drink producers that have made Totnes and its surrounding areas such a desirable port of call in the food world.

For Weekender 2023, we have made the bold move of reducing the weekend ticket price by 33% in an attempt to make the event as affordable as possible for everybody. An absolute essential in the construction of this year’s planning has been to ensure that as many people can be involved as possible. In the post-pandemic and mid-economic crisis of late winter 2022-2023, selling tickets for a weekend of music, arts and culture has the potential to further highlight the gulf between those that have and have not. When we first started the event way back in 2015, we needed people to go with us, trust that the guys from the record shop could throw a party and keep the town safe. We did, we built it, you came, it grew, and through thick and thin we have had the support of an amazing audience.

We know how fierce the current economic landscape is and we feel very strongly that making Sea Change a celebratory event in and for Totnes requires as many of the local community to feel engaged and inclined to participate.
